Matthias Schäfer

Matthias Schäfer, born in 1972, studied mechanical engineering with focus on innovative product development at the Coburg University of Applied Sciences. After completing his Dipl.-Ing. (FH) in 1999 he became partner of the WOIS Institute in Coburg.

Since then he has been an innovation consultant in numerous projects for companies of diverse industries. The achievements lie in the proactive shaping of innovation processes for a strategic reorientation of businesses as well as for product and process developments. In 2015 he completed his Master of Business Administration at the Steinbeis University Berlin, the De Paul University Chicago and the Kelly School of Business-University of Indiana.

Matthias Schäfer is coinventor of multiple national and international patents and is coauthor of the book “Die Unlogik der Innovation / The Illogicality of Innovation”.
